Today a total of 49 plants in 11 countries on two continents benefit from standardized processes and a stable system landscape already. <\/em>\r\n\r\nSeven different shipping systems in the European plants \u2013 including VAS Yard Management <\/a>in Germany \u2013 inconsistent processes, and no common basis: In 2013, Lhoist, one of the leading international manufacturers of lime and calcium carbonate products with 135 locations worldwide and a global customer base today, decided the group-wide harmonization of plant logistics.
