Compared to the production and delivery of conventional building materials, logistics in the recycling and landfill sector presents additional unique demands and challenges. Both the inbound delivery of waste materials, such as demolition material for landfill or processing, and the sale and delivery of recycled materials require extensive documentation to meet the often divergent legal requirements across different countries.
In this joint webinar hosted by Axians IAS and Axians eWaste, we will explore the requirements for verification processes regarding hazardous (construction) waste and present concepts for digitizing and automating these workflows. This includes verification processes with relevant portals as well as the integration with logistics processes in the plant with the Axians VAS Yard Management solution.
Using Germany as an example, we will also outline the framework conditions and potential concepts for supporting verification obligations for recycled building materials through digitalized workflow solutions.
We also address the following questions in our WebCast:
- What different roles need to be considered for hazardous materials registration?
- How could communication between a central waste verification solution (e.g. a portal) and a plant logistics solution such as VAS Yard Management work (explained with the example of a solution in Germany)?
- How can the roles involved in the waste verification process be informed about the “results” of the delivery?
You will also receive an outlook on cross-border regulations for the transportation of notifiable construction materials.
