VAS Yard Management has significantly improved Philcement’s operations by automating processes, leading to faster, smoother, and more precise workflows. This automation has enhanced data processing, plant performance, and decision-making speed.

PHOENIX Zementwerke Krogbeumker GmbH & Co KG is automating its processes with the logistics system VAS from Axians IAS, moving away from manual, paper-based controls. This implementation will enable automated processes and unmanned loading throughout the plant.

For over ten years, Axians IAS has collaborated with Lhoist to improve their plant processes using the VAS solution at various facilities in Germany, including Europe's largest limestone plant located in Flanders.

CEMEX, a multinational company in the building materials industry, chose VAS for its ability to meet all requirements outlined in their IT logistics specification. The customized solution, integrated with the central ERP System, has been deployed across CEMEX plants in Germany and the Czech Republic.

Holcim in Southeast Asia enhanced its VAS logistics solution to gain full control over shipments from its cement plants. VAS already handles truck pre-registration, queue management, entry, loading, exit processes, and automated delivery document printing.

After successful implementations in the Philippines and Indonesia, Axians introduced VAS to North Africa with a pilot at Holcim's Settat cement plant in Morocco. Axians provided software, services and infrastructure, including IT Hardware, control room displays, barriers, and traffic signal systems.

Al Safwa Cement Company improved operational efficiency and customer focus with VAS, laying the foundation for doubling its plant capacity in Saudi Arabia, said Commercial Director Kahled Jadallah.
